Netflix and Rubicon initially approached Peter at Putty Studios about the possibility of creating a realistic elk for the second series of their international smash hit series “Lilyhammer”. Following a successful presentation of the recently upgraded hair and fur system, Peter was hired as visual Effects Supervisor for the entire season.

Putty Studios went on to provide over 80 visual effects including creature effects, pyrotechnics and environment creations!

The show, a comedy drama, stars Steven Van Zandt as an American New York mobster who goes into hiding in rural Lillehammer in Norway after testifying against his former associates. It broke the record for viewing figures in Norway and has since gone on to be a huge success in Scandinavia and the US.

The premiere of the series outperformed NRK1 channel average by 245% and the show has been viewed by 1/5 of Norwegians!
