Sandra Lyng’s Christmas music track “Julefantasi” is not your standard jingle bells and holly fare. She touches on themes of loneliness, dysfunctional families, and the feelings of dread that many associate with the festive season. But also hope, and the belief that the future can be better.
This video was created using traditional 2D and 3D animation techniques, but then processed with state-of-the-art machine learning algorithms to aid with the watercolour painting look. Using the latest GPU rendering hardware to keep processing speeds manageable, made the video delivery possible under a tight deadline.
